What I have forgotten now…

…hmmm. Let me see:
– sleeves,
– performance long sleeve shirt,
– buffs,
– pins.

That’s it. I think. My bad memory is the only think which was not cool about marathon event in Lilliput. Rest was brilliant. Vincent Guthrie and whole gang put together really great race. Run took place in the near Lilliput Adventure Centre. Small lap on the beginning and after that 4 bigger ones. Route flat but some parts rough and after the day before and morning rain that wasn’t too easy to run. At the end of the race you could see that calves of each runner were very, very mucky but that was the whole fun…

Cause at the moment I’m not trying to get time results I’m concentraiting myself on running with the steady pace. This time wanted to run 5:13 minutes per km. And I was keeping that for quite a bit, actually till about 19-20 km mark. After that I have speed up a little bit to 5:06 minutes per km. Without bigger effort I have finished in time below 3:35. Time not great but that wasn’t the point. Great that I wasn’t tired at all… I had plesure of running first bit of marathon with my friend Norman Hunter. It was good to see back him running again after the injury. Norman hopefully leg won’t act up next time (mayb you should do couple of marathons like the June one in Dublin first :-D). It was nice to chat and not running alone for a change. Plenty topics to cover…

Some part of the route was passing just besides lake, after that back roads covered by trees (would give you nice shade if that would be summer now could shelter you from the wind). Rough path was waiting for us next. Mud, water – muck. And the end back road leading you to finish of the loop. Would say that surrundings were gorgues. Will hope to come back there in summer. Now it seems that next one there will be in January… Still will be running.

After race we have decoration of fellow runners. Some of them are really hard runners – 200 marathons. Some of them 25, 50. All aready hit the mile-stones. I still need to work my way up… Hopefully some day…

Pictures as usuall:
