Everyone was waiting for message about Le Cheile midnight marathon for 2016. End eventually it it has been announced – mid July. But there was a small hiccup. No b2b this year, no chip timing. That what is happening when race director is changing. Still under Le Cheile Athletic Club but changes made. Wasn’t ready for trail. So, that change wasn’t affecting me. But time chipping missing was a big bummer. Back to early days. One person counting laps for four runners…
Tired legs – part two
4:01:43 – time I got for the trail marathon. Same route as the one at the end of the 2014. On the New Years Eve I got 4:07 but back then my IBS was in the full swing and my time was sum of me running and me spending time on the pit stops… So, I was assuming that this time I could get time below 4 hours without even trying. Oooo, I couldn’t be more wrong. But back to the beginning.
Hamster – part one
That was night to remember… For the first time I have run during night. Start was scheduled exact for midnight… Hard to work out when to eat last time and how to fight tiredness after early start in work that day. Again new experience. Lately have plenty of these. And last but not least that was marathon run on the track… 95 laps on the lane number 7 or 8 (measurements were taken on the inside on lane 7). And I think that was the biggest challenge. Get the head around that…
