1. Woke up 5 minutes before alarm. Decided 5 more minutes of rest… Forgot that last Friday I have changed the alarm to ring 30 minutes later. So, was late already.
2. Had to be fast… Couldn’t do my exercice. ‘Will do them in the evening’.
3. New office is so far. Ok, it’s M50 and I’m trying to get as early as I can. Little traffic.
4. Very tired. Didn’t want to run.
5. ‘Why the hell I’m running. Still whole day of work ahead of me.’
6. 2 miles in and ‘I’m so glad that I’m running now.’
7. Endorphines. Nice.
8. Over 12.5 km later and I was energetic. Ready to attack the day.
9. Solved couple of cases.
10. Waited for lunch break. Over 8.5 km.
11. Energy bust again. To excercise at home, unfortunately not to get 3rd run.
12. Happy day.
Irish Marathons and longer for 2015
Recently I have been asked via my website for info about some Irish marathons in 2015 and since I look at all sorts of lists of marathons in and outside of Ireland I have decided to put together the list of Irish marathons for year 2015.
Unusual Christmas song
I have wrote below post back in November 2011 on my previous blog… That blog was about how a Polish person sees and experience Ireland. And that post… ohhh you can just read it 😉 Link to original post –> http://www.mojairlandia.com/2011/11/27/1429/
Just around the corner…
… Christmas. Of course, I should be in festive season mood now. But I’m not. All I can think of is running. Would I be prepared for the next season? Would I be able to run these ultra runs? All that sits in the back of my mind… I would say not even in the back of my mind, it is taking over my head completely. What races to run? What runs to jog? How to plan everything? And I would like to squeeze more runs into my calendar. Can I do that? In some cases yes but I need to remember that ultra runs need more recovery time, which will force me to choose the runs carefully…
Hybrid in below zero temperature…
Walking out the dog around 5:40 in the morning wasn’t very pleasent expirience. Temperature was below zero for sure – freezing… So, wasn’t looking like a great day for running marathon, but… No buts actually. Temperature will rise for sure later. Yep, it went up to hoping 1 degree Celcius…
Tired as hell
For the first time in long time I’m feeling really tired and low…
Did my two training sessions during the day, one on the treadmill (usually that one is harder then on road one) and during lunch break run on the road (and that one was really tough, freezing rain and low temperature). Nothing special but I think that early mornings just cought up with me. I almost fall asleep in work, missed phone call from AC guy (which I have actually invited to check our faulty unit)… I couldn’t even start my excercises in the evening…
Translation
I was asked to add translation button to my blog to allow these who doesn’t know English read the blog in different language…
But translation is as good as Google Translate unfortunately (not great) but it is there now. You can find it in the right side bar, just under ‘Donation for Cara School’. From the drop-down you can chose now Polish, German or French language.
Don’t slip now
Hopefully I won’t. New season is starting soon. Actually, I can’t say if there is another season or the running is just continuing… All I know is that main marathon race should be in Malta at the end of February, so it’s just over two months from now. And I need to get my preparation in order. No slip-ups now.
Official diplomas
Have just decided that I will post here all official diplomas for completion of marathon.
At this stage, after 16 marathons, I have 3. From Cork, Dublin and now Nice.
madITrunner on tour
And here we go… I will be running outside of Ireland for the first time. Couldn’t imagine better place to start my ‘foreign’ runs than the marathon in Nice. Place where we keep coming back every year, relaxing during summer months. Now I can experience Nice in November and at the same time run the marathon…
